Liked: The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. That made an immediate great first impression. The pool and hot tub area were well kept and clean, the room was huge and spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. I had to leave very early in the morning, so I can't speak to the breakfast, but the breakfast area and the lobby were clean from what I could see. Everything was well maintained. La Quintas can be a hit-or-miss choice, but this one is definitely a hit. You can tell that it is taken care of with respect and love! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and I would happily recommend it to others.
Disliked: I think the only thing I would change is to somehow make the room a little cozier. The first thing I noticed about it was it seemed kind of sterile. I think carpets would make it feel warmer and more welcoming, but I can see where going without is the smarter choice in regard to upkeep and cost. That's really the only thing that I was even the least little bit unhappy with. I think if I was staying longer, it would have bugged me more. But it wouldn't affect my rating for this hotel - still a great choice.
