Disliked: Our door was very hard to open and close. The lady at the front desk said nothing rude.

Uncomfortable sofabed, unpleasant location. Good...

Liked: The room was clean.
Disliked: The sofa/hodeabed is not usable as a bed. It had a very uncomfortable flimsy mattress. We were counting on it as we had three people in the room (a couple and another adult). Luckily we were traveling with a U-Haul and our possessions and had a roll up pillow/mattress that the other adult could use to sleep on the floor. The sofa bed would have beenm very very uncomfortable.The location of the hotel is not great and the armed security guard may have been necessary but it was intimidating. He and the desk clerk were talking about something and trying to locate someone on the security video screens as we came through the lobby and it appeared to be a security concern. When we asked about it he unconvincingly said it was nothing. We did not feel calmed by his response - if it really was nothing more explanation should have been given about what they were looking for. If it was something, our question still should have been answered. The front desk staff person was pretty grumpy, particularly in the morning after what seemed to us to be too long a shift (well over 12 hours).

Disliked: Our room was not clean, and the couch was very dirty and gross. The lights had to stay on to have the TV on. There was no refrigerator coffee maker was not good.

Disliked: They placed us on a floor that was actively being painted. The rooms next to ours were being painted as we walked passed. There was debris from painting all over the hallways and the paint smell/fumes were present. Not sure why you would put people on a a floor where there is fresh painting. There was no borders along the wall just debris. It was also very hot in the facility. My toilet ran all night and the tub was slow to drain.
