La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque Midtown

The room itself was much smaller than I thought it would be, since we reserved a King Suite. I was surprised by the size of it. For us the location was ideal - even though it was in more of an industrial area, the events and venues we had on our itinerary made it an ideal location.

Liked: The breakfast was fairly good and did have a good selection to choose from.
Disliked: Parking lot was a mess. They were being resurfaced and parking was a chore.

Liked: breakfast was ok. I saw the cereal but, I didn't see the milk to go with it. I used the coffee cup for oatmeal, I didn't see a small bowl.
Disliked: The room that my son stayed in, the signal to the Directv was not working. I had an employee look at and she contacted maintenance. He said to push a button in the back to reset it. That worked, until we went to pick up dinner and came back. The tv was not working. The message on the screen was it could not get a signal to the tv.

Disliked: Sheets had stains, no sheets for pull out bed, not enough towels for 3-4 ppl in a rm, walls had old blood or vomit stains, night front desk person was rude, she didnt care to tell me what she was charging me for each rm although booking.com gave me a price already, 3rd floor looks scary & old, had a heater or ac near our rm & it was nearly abt to fall out, we saw a big hole beside it & could see the outside!

Disliked: No towels in the room and when I called both evening and morning shift there are no extra ones anywhere in the whole hotel. And we had a two bed/ with a sofa and 6 in the room.

Liked: Room size awesome for 5 people, breakfast was good and awesome staff. The staff did their best and I don’t blame the night staff.
Disliked: I booked a room for 5 people and only had 2 towels in my bathroom and when I called down stairs there were no extras. The couch cushions and mattress to it had blood stains on it. Also no towels in the pool area so we had to walk up to our room soak and wet and had to use one of the bath towels to clean up the floor even though there was only 2 towels in our room. Cleaning people do need to pay a bit more attention to the coaches.

Disliked: Our hot water wasn't working, hot tub was closed down, ice machine was broke and we had to kill a pretty big roach when we was laying down .

Liked: Property seemed newer and had nice updates.
Disliked: The room was not very clean, we found boogers on the wall and the tub and sink were visibly dirty.

Disliked: It was dirty. There were bugs in the shower. There was no water pressure. The hallway smelled really bad. I asked for bedding for my grandson for the pull out couch and all they had available was a sheet. No pillow or blanket.
