1st time at a LaQuinta,...
Disliked: No one at front desk, we sat outside in our car. A couple from Germany had been sitting in lobby for 3 hours waiting to check in at 3 pm. so they didn't have to pay $15 to check in early. Hallway carpet was dirty. There was a pile of refuse in hallway for 2 days. The noise coming from above our room was unacceptable. at 1 am. Tried to call front desk, phone not working. Got dressed and walked to front desk about the noise. No tub mat, was slippery. Were there for a funeral and had a 6 hour drive home with no sleep. Ugh.

Liked: No thing . Bot recommended. . Bad room service Bad brekfast . Bad and rude stuff .Book is a disaster the chlorine level was extremely high and suffocating — we couldn’t stay in the room for more than a few minutes. My daughter began to cough heavily, her eyes turned red, and tears wouldn’t stop. It was an overwhelming and distressing experience.
Disliked: stayed at La Quinta Inn – West Long Branch with my family from July 19 to July 21, 2025, hoping for a peaceful weekend getaway with my children. Unfortunately, the experience turned into something emotionally upsetting that I will not forget.The room we were given (217) was far smaller than what was shown in the booking photos and completely unsuitable for four people. I calmly went down to the front desk to ask for clarification or possibly a solution. The first staff member was understanding — until another individual suddenly interrupted.This man, whom I later learned is named Chris and appears to hold a managerial position, aggressively interjected without introducing himself. In a loud and hostile tone, he said:"Did you read the booking? You can't rely on the photos!"Then he continued shouting:"We don’t have any rooms. If you don’t like it, leave!"I asked him, calmly and respectfully, not to speak to me that way — that I had paid for my stay and was only trying to find a solution — but he continued yelling in a very humiliating and disrespectful manner.This incident deeply affected me, especially because I was doing my best to remain calm and composed in front of my children. Instead of feeling welcome and safe, I felt shocked, disrespected, and completely powerless in a place that should have offered comfort and care to families.What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend turned into a painful experience that left me emotionally drained and disappointed. I truly hope no other guest — especially those traveling with children — has to go through what I experienced.

Liked: I hated this place
Disliked: The place was very old looking the tv nor the phone worked I liked nothing about this place. They accused me of smoking when I can’t due to health issues and kept my money. The staff is rude and nothing works in there
