Fine for 1 night and...

Liked: Room smelled terrible, like rusted metal or something. Never went away. I was only there for a short night so it was bearable, but would not stay longer than that.
Disliked: $150 deposit, to be credited several days later, no point, you have my card, so just charge it if the room is not kept right. Smell of the room and breakfast was pretty bad, old bagels, dried out eggs...

Liked: The location
Disliked: 1. The bed looked like it was going to fall off of the frame and the sheets smelled.2. The shower had mold in it. There pics attached.3. There were bugs and I videoed one before I killed it.4. There was no soap - we had to go get bars from the desk because you couldn’t call the desk.5. There were no Kleenex either.6. It was generally run down with older furniture and no cohesiveness in the decor - shabby

It was horrible.

Liked: Comfort of the bed was adequate. The employee that assisted us with check-out was very good.
Disliked: Large stain on floor by desk looked like dried blood. Took several days for staff to address stain issue. No hand soap in room until I requested it. No tissues present, staff left us a roll of toilet paper for tissues. No locking gate on pool fence and no supervision of pool area noted. Two small young girls playing in the pool area with no adult supervision. Employee attitude was horrible, when asked to have stain addressed, employee was very dismissive and we were told that there are 70 checkouts that day and no housekeeping available.

Liked: Comfortable bed and location.
Disliked: The room needed a face-lift. Had to slam the door to get it to close all the way, and there was a gap in the door. They need more parking near the rooms on the side of the building. Needed lawn maintenance. Couldn't park easily because of shrubs and overgrown grass/weeds. Needs to have information in the rooms about hotel amenities and where things are located.

Liked: This hotel is across the street from Pensacola Bay. It is next to I-10 with easy on/off access. It is surrounded by a forest, which is beautiful, peaceful, and blocks most noise. It is very quiet at night. The breakfast is fine. It is similar to most Quality Inns; including make your own waffles, a bar with hot eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, etc. This hotel is a great value. As with anything, it could use improvements, but the value could be lost with increasing costs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, if asked.
Disliked: Minor maintenance issues as with any older building. There were no real problems.
