Liked: It has a Denny’s on the same property. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable
Disliked: Other guest were drunk and made me afraid to be alone. One of the reasons I picked it was it said it had free breakfast but that was a lie. There was a water leak in the room and the toilet ran all the time. The toilet made strange noises. The tub was difficult to turn on. Not many tv channels to watch.

Don't take $3 bills

Liked: The front desk staff stayed professional during my conflict.
Disliked: Housekeeping did not do their job, daily. Initiated giving cleaning supplies to one of the guests to clean the room. After complaining, they said they would do a thorough cleaning and only made up one of the beds, did not clean the restroom, did not clean off the table, or vacuum because trash was still on the floor. They advertise complimentary breakfast and have the sign hanging by the front desk, but falsely advertised. When you get there they tell you that you have to pay an additional deposit, take your card and enter your info for the transaction, but when you check out they have no record of your deposit. The physical view of the property does not match the pictures advertised.

Liked: The location was fine
Disliked: There was roaches as soonest I went in the room they started crawling. I had to ask for a plunger the toilet wouldn't flush and two lights didn't work.

Huge disappointment

Liked: Like: Room was spacious Dislike: 1. Upon check-in, I was advised that they did not have any rooms with King size bed (which is what I reserved). They said they would put me in a room with 2 queen size beds at no extra cost. I ended up with a room with 2 full size beds. 2. The tv did not function the whole day of check-in. I advised the front desk and was told that nothing could be done til the next day and that it would be notated for the next shift. The next day I went to the office to ascertain if a work order was placed for the tv and to see when they would be able to come by and correct the problem. The front desk representative was not aware of the issue due to the fact that the previous representative failed to inform her of the problem. Prior to leaving for work, maintenance arrived and had to connect a whole new cable in order for the tv to work. The tv was functioning before I left for work but continued to cut off and change channels on its own. Upon arriving back to the room early in the morning the next day, the tv was not working again. So for a 3 day stay the tv worked, somewhat for a couple of hours. 3. Upon checking my bank records to compare the charges, i noticed that there were 3 separate charges for the amount of the entire stay. The total of all 3 charges was consistent with the actual cost of the 3 day stay, but they did separate charges. 4. There was construction and remodeling being done on the property therefore there were large dumpsters taking up a good amount of parking spaces thereby leaving very few parking spaces to park. 5. The motel now being of the chain of Roadway motels, many things were still displaying the LA Quinta chain name therefore making it somewhat confusing as to where guests were staying, Roadway Inn or LA Quinta.

You couldn’t pay me enough...

Liked: The location. It was 4 minutes from Texas AM University.
Disliked: I booked with La Quinta Inn and Suites. Apparently, Rodeway Inn bought the location and didn’t inform customers. The motel was in bad shape. They tried to increase the price because I made my reservation last year. The room had a busted tv which they obviously didn’t know about. The room smelled of mold. The sheets on the beds felt damp. The shower didn’t work. The mattress had bed bugs. The water pressure in the sink was too high. Of course, I demanded another room. They gave me one. It was better than the other one. The property was very run down. Phones are in the rooms, but don’t work. They need to tear it down and start new.
