La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bend

I have never had such a poor experience in all my hotel stays. I stay at hotels an average of 150 nights a year. I paid for a three night stay and stayed only one night, with refusal of a cancelation refund.

Disliked: Bed was worn out. Also plans changed at check in and counter person said they were not able to cancel the next two days stay.

Liked: Helpful, friendly staff.
Disliked: No heat in the room due to malfunctioning thermostat and no extra blankets. It’s also impossible to close the drapes. The walls are paper thin so we heard everything above and on either side of us. We got no sleep.

Liked: They graciously got our rooms put together for my handicapped mom and my husband and I. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was great! All the workers we encountered were very nice. Thank you!
Disliked: inside the pool and spa looked dirty. They need work also the shower in the pool area wasn’t working. The pet walking area needs more actual grass. Also a couple of sprinklers were trip hazards.

Great price, amazing staff, clean...

Liked: The front desk people are always a joy to interact with, and if we have any issues they’re always quick to help fix it. We also really enjoy the breakfast! From price to comfortability and customer service, you really can’t beat it! Whenever we visit Bend we always go straight to La Quinta!!

Liked: The pool and Breakfast accept the "eggs".
Disliked: Sink would not drain, bedding was scratchy, found a used ear plug on the floor. Only 2 towels in the room, remote barely worked and the TV would go black when we used the microwave.
