Our room was warm and clean. The mattress and pillows are very comfy. Overall, this is a great place to stay. Very well located and clean and warm. I recommend.

Disliked: The air handling system runs ALL NIGHT LONG. This means you have cool air blowing on your face all night long. We could not figure out how to turn this off.

Liked: The best thing I can say about this location is that they had wonderful front desk staff. Just really sweet people. I was in Cary for a medical procedure. On checkout day I had to get extra fluids and medications in the morning from the medical office. I returned very groggy and they were so sweet to give us an extra hour for checkout before we had to leave for the airport. It was everything! And if I’m ever in Cary again, I’ll be staying there!
Disliked: The carpets and common areas could definitely use some upgrading and there are stains everywhere. But the rooms were great and the common areas are decorated nicely enough to detract from the floors.

Disliked: We drove three hours. Could not check in till 4. We had event tickets at 4 and got there at three in the dot. Needed to use the lobby restroom and it had hair conditioner and no soap. We told two front desk employees and nothing was done. The room was outdated. The tub was stained. Behind the toilet seat was not clean. The “secured side door” that required a room key was not operating. So anyone could enter the guest area. There was pile or debris outside in one of the parking spaces that also had a toilet thrown in. Felt like a dumpster would have been more appropriate. I had to park next to pile and toilet when I entered the insecure door. Value does not have to mean cutting all of the corners. Why could we not check in? Yes we had a pet but it’s a pet friendly hotel. Staffing shortages yes but the a man came in AFTER us for room 112 with a pet and got a key right away. My daughter told me she had previously stayed at a La Quinta and enjoyed it. My old boss raved about the hotel chain and this just ruined it for me. Missed a performer I paid to see. Was embarrassed without my out of town guest. It was just not a good experience at all.
