Walking distance to State Theater. Walking was fine before the show, but a little scary on the way back at night. Hotel was nice, clean and convenient.

Liked: It was clean and comfortable, and very convenient to the airport.
Disliked: Its proximity to a correctional facility. As a solo traveler without a rental car, I unexpectedly walked by it and didn’t feel safe. I found a safer route on the way back.

Clean, nice staff, would stay...

Liked: The whole building is nonsmoking so it was delightful. Breakfast is OK. Good coffee.
Disliked: The hallways were WAY over Air-Conditioned. The blower blows on you as you wait for the elevator. Brrrrrrrr!

Disliked: It is slightly far from downtown Portland, but i knew this before booking so we got Ubers!

Liked: the staff - especially the support staff and and maintenance teams - were amazing. I had a truly horrible trip, through no fault of the hotel, and every member of the staff worked extra hard to make sure we had what we needed for the whole week. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was perfect, and the location was honestly great - easy to walk to downtown/sites, but also easy and low stress to drive to the hotel from the highway or airport. The breakfast had something for everyone!I am terrible with names - I want to give a special shout out to everyone, but only remember Patrick and Robbin's names ... super thanks to everyone, including/especially Patrick and Robbin
Disliked: The internet is NOT good, I ended up having to use a hotspot the whole time (but the staff did their darndest to fix it!), and the key cards kept demagnetizing (even though kept separate from other cards and phones). Not the staff's fault, but Windham should fix this. Also the TV was super lame (slow, terrible selection), but we had laptops and hotspots, so we were content.

Liked: It was comfortable and it was close to the hospital. The staff was wonderful. Tim and Karen were very accommodating and jumped through hoops to extend my stay when I told them my mom’s stay at the hospital just got extended. I can’t say thank you enough for that.

Liked: The facility was either recently updated or newer. The rooms were cozy.
Disliked: The water pressure of the bath room sink was very low. The tv was on the small side. It seemed to be around 32 inches, but it served its purpose, and I could connect to Netflix on it.
