La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New York City Central Park

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good things about this hotel were the staff and walking distance to Central Park.

Liked: The staff and the location. The location was within walking distance to the Metropolitan Opera House.
Disliked: There were cockroaches in our room - disgusting!

Liked: Spending time in NYC with my son!
Disliked: Very small room; elevator so slow we didn't bother; air conditioning was a loud window unit. Occasionally a loud noise would startle me which was from a pipe in the bathroom - not sure what that was all about! And, don't bother going for breakfast, that was a joke! The room is small, hot, with no seating and didn't have anyone refilling things.

I would not recommend this place to a friend. It was dirty and creepy.

Disliked: Small; not as clean as I would have hoped.

I came to see a concert in Central Park and this hotel was very close and absolutely fits it's purpose. It was not fancy but I was not looking for that anyway.

Liked: Very close to Central Park; clean; nice view from the 14th floor; breakfast OK; nice staff.
Disliked: Rooms and hallways are a bit cramped.

Disliked: During the first night of my stay, the air conditioning didn't work and I was told it can not be fixed, nor is there any other room available. The result was a night from hell as the room was so hot it was impossible to sleep. I would recommend anyone to stay away from this hotel.

Disliked: The size of the bed ( too small for tall people). The shower faucet broke and we couldn’t use the shower. We reported the problem to the receptionist but the second evening it was not repaired. Also nobody came to make our room.
