Bad experience. Keep looking.
Liked: It has a good location near the NOLA airport.
Disliked: We booked this property only for one night so we could rest before our flight. The hotel looks old and a bit run down but we were willing to ignore that because it has a good location near the airport. We went to bed around 10pm only to be woken up at 2am by the fire alarm. Went downstairs to the front desk and they said it was a problem with their system, so there was no emergency. We go back to bed but the fire alarm kept going off every five minutes and we couldn?t go back to sleep. We finally checked out around 4:30am completely exhausted and with a fussy baby because we could not stand the noise and could not get any rest at this hotel. The staff at the front desk acted like everything was normal and didn?t even apologize or offer a discount or refund at any moment. No explanation about what was happening whatsoever. Very disappointed! We?ve had other very good experiences with La Quinta hotels in other cities but going forward I will think twice about booking with them. Stay away from this hotel.

Clean updated room, freidly staff,...
Liked: Our room was nicely updated and clean. Staff members at breakfast were friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: We checked in around 5:00 p. m. and the 1st room we were given on the 5th floor had a jacket on the bed. We were then given a room on the 4th floor which was unoccupied and clean. It appeared that the cleaning staff was running a little behind, they were still working on the 4th and 5th floors.

It was pretty good
Liked: The check in was very easy and they gave me no problems with my dog
Disliked: They only had sweet items for breakfast such as yogurt, fruits, muffins, waffles, juice, etc... needed a lil salt base food like sausage eggs or bacon

Liked: Nothing. Very unclean and smelly, rooms were small and dirty.
Disliked: Customer service at check in was great. My last night there customer care front desk was extremely rude when I asked about an extra 86.00 charge on my credit card. No explanation was given and she pretended to be busy running report. And she nvr got back in contact with me.

Liked: They offer an airport shuttle but I had to wait 35 mins.
Disliked: It was very old and seem Dingy. We was not comfortable in our room and ask the check out the next day... the tub has rust and we didn?t want to take our shoes off. Wish I could get my money back from that one stay.
