Disliked: rude staff. received no pillows as instructed. was talked to rudely and the staff told me she didn?t care that my sons didn?t have pillows!

Liked: it was not in good shape from hurricane. That was not evident when I booked from you at full price. There was no mention to me about having to sign a statement that we could not blame them gir any falls etc. And the entire building was not level. I saw that rooms were going for half of what I paid booking. i will not use your site again.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel...
Disliked: This location is nothing like the pictures. The room was not clean and there was one little light in the bedroom and in the bathroom. It was dark and gloomy. I'm guessing that was by design because they didn't want you to see all of the stains on the carpet and how run down the room was. My socks were dark from simply walking on the carpet and it smells completely musty. The door to the room is to the outdoors and it was not secure. Therefore, I made sure to leave the bathroom door opened up against the room door to keep it a bit more secure. Due to the uncleanliness, overall uneasiness of staying there, I called booking.com to see if I could cancel my 14 night stay-I was on the phone over 30 minutes with booking.com going back and forth between myself and the General manager. Booking.com finally got approval for me to check out the next morning. I received an updated confirmation stating the new check out date and the charge would be $262.01. They had already charged me $1912.13 for the first week of my stay, so all but $262.01 would need to be refunded. I checked out on Feb. 1st. (I stayed ONE night). When leaving the breakfast that they offer is literally a little white bag with a tiny mini muffin and a granola bar. Fast forward, Feb. 14th after I had been checked out for 13 days- they proceeded to charge my card another $1962.30!!! I've emailed and sent them the Booking.com confirmation of the change to one night, called and waited for the general manager to get back to me for my $3600+ refund- the General Manager, Jerry, will not get on the phone or reply to me at all-he had Hilda tell me that he could not refund me because no one ever go approval from him. That is a complete lie. THIS is why the location is like it is with management like that. They also will use the excuse that 1st level is under construction because of the storm, but that has nothing to do with the room on the second floor in the back that I was in.
