Disliked: Not impressed by the soap scummed shampoo bottle.

Disliked: They gave us a room with people already in it. When we got another room it smelled like stayal smoke the shower had black mold in it

Liked: The staff was great, and the location fit what we were looking for. I have stayed at hotels in Des Moines numerous times, and if you're looking for a great value that is clean and accommodating; this is it!

Liked: Everything was great. The staff were exceptional! Caitlin was at the desk for check in and Adam at checkout. Very good breakfast. The lobby and breakfast area are clean, bright and welcoming. This particular LaQuinta is our favorite and always stay there if we are in the area. It is also in great location for restaurants, horse track, casino, amusement park and shopping.
