Liked: It was beautiful and quaint and clean. The decor was appealing and appropriate and made us feel relaxed and comfortable.

Liked: Exceptional attention to detail and immaculate presentation. Beautiful setting and lots of charm. Breakfast was simple but delicious with courteous and attentive staff. Our stay here was a great experience.
Disliked: Room was good size, but a larger desk and additional chair would be welcome.

Specular building,accommodation and food

Liked: Stylish, secluded and quiet, contemporary within traditional walls. The breakfast was copious and delicious. The restaurant was first class and the tasting menu was worthy of a Michelin star, it was innovative, used local produce served as a piece of art and the chef had great flair and imagination. As well as those qualities the food was delicious, flavoursome and simply spectacular. The service in house from Antonia was professional , friendly and just a pleasure to interact with her. Nothing was too much trouble. I had a simply perfect 4 days there.

Liked: The hotel is in a beautiful old building that has been thoughtfully renovated. The room was beautifully decorated with a great view. Bathroom was nice as well. Breakfast in the morning was good but standard continental fair. Coffee was good.
Disliked: There is no parking nearby as it is in the historic center and there is no lift so pack accordingly. We stayed on a Sunday night and I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed. Per the information on the website and other sources it had said the restaurant was open Wednesday - Sunday and we had planned to eat at the restaurant. We found somewhere else to eat and it was fine. But I had looked forward to sitting at the bar by the river which was also closed. I also asked for restaurant recommendations but never received them.
