Very poor

Disliked: Probably a good hotel for the 70+ category. The smell, the atmosphere, the interior is definitely not for young people. We couldn't even stay there for one night. At the same time, the full cost was deducted from us and another amount is still blocked ((although we were told at departure that they would try not to write it off

Disappointing

Liked: Looks lovely and great location.
Disliked: They moved us to a different hotel as they overbooked. Wonder if they would have if we had booked directly?!

Great hotel and don't miss...

Liked: Amazing building, fantastic rooms and an excellent bar. Everything you need in great hotel.
Disliked: No lift, dragging suitcases up and down stairs wasn't great. I am sure someone would have taken them for us, but for expediency we did it ourselves. I understand lifts are difficult with an old building and it is a minor point.

Liked: The location was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Every staff person seemed very happy to help.The breakfast was amazing and the service was excellent!
Disliked: With the complimentary wine they could have served a charcuterie of cheeses and salamis and fruits, especially for the price you pay. Otherwise everything else was fantastic!
