A wonderful place to call...

Liked: Convenient location in Colonia Americana, a lovely mansion, excellent breakfasts....most important, the service and attentive care from Lorenzo, Guillermo and Antonio was unparalleled. Helpful suggestions and guidance on many things to do, restaurants to enjoy, and even arranging tickets to the excellent Philharmonic performance at Teatro Degallado. A highlight were several evenings enjoying rooftop refreshments with the staff and several local guests. The team made us welcome, as guests in their home.
Disliked: Nothing worthy of note.

Exceeded expectations

Liked: Beautiful house in a great location! But what really made the visit was Lorenzo’s and Memo’s superb hospitality. Early morning coffee, a good breakfast, plentiful drinking water, personalized advice and maps, happy hour on the roof … the list goes on. Highly recommended!

A fun active stay in...

Liked: There was so much attention to the details by the owners throughout our stay. If we were not sure as to an activity or place to have a meal, one of the owners would provide us with a custom map, and he would highlight the best options along our route.
Disliked: It was a bit warmer during the afternoon and evening than I expected, but the mornings were really nice. If I return again in April, I will not pack a jacket or long pants.

Disliked: We recently had the pleasure of staying at La Perla, and it truly was an unforgettable experience. The location was perfect, and the surroundings are beautiful. Thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcomed. Can't wait to go back!!!

Liked: Four things were outstanding about our stay at La Perla. 1) The location was perfect for access to everything in Guadalajara and surrounding areas. 2) The fantastic rooftop deck and social hour (+) offered an opportunity to know the staff and other guests 3) Guidance on what to see and what to do was tailored to our specific interests 4) Everyone associated with La Perla was interesting, friendly, and knowledgeable. Advice: pick a time of year that meets your needs--hot and dry or cooler and rainy.
Disliked: A more substantial breakfast available earlier in the day would be nice

Liked: The house makes you feel like you are in the Golden Age of Mexican Movies. The location is perfect for sightseeing or getting to other places. Great breakfast! Lorenzo makes people feel special, and all the staff is friendly and very helpful.
Disliked: I have nothing to say in this section since I was very happy with everything!
