The Spotlight on La Loggia Art B&B

A Creative Hideaway in the Heart of Montreal

La Loggia Art B&B is a charming, artsy retreat located just 1.4 miles from Clock Tower Beach and within walking distance of many of Montreal’s top cultural and music venues. Nestled on Rue Atateken, this warm and welcoming 3-star bed and breakfast blends personal service with eclectic style—perfect for travelers who want more than just a place to sleep. With a peaceful garden, sun terrace, and artistic interior, it's an ideal base for a music-fueled weekend.

Why Concert-goers love it

Located in central Montreal, La Loggia Art B&B places you minutes from venues like Place des Arts and the Quartier des Spectacles. Berri-UQAM Metro Station is steps away, making late-night travel a breeze. The peaceful garden setting offers a quiet space to unwind after a high-energy show, and the flexible check-in from 14:00 and late check-out until 01:00 means you’re not rushing the morning after.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a unique, shared experience
  • Solo travelers catching a bucket-list gig
  • Couples enjoying a romantic music-filled weekend
  • Fans who want a serene place to recover post-concert
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who don’t want to sacrifice charm

Food and Drink Options

Start your day with a continental, vegetarian, or vegan breakfast, served onsite and perfect for a slow morning after a late night. There's also a snack bar for late-night cravings, and the surrounding area is packed with walkable cafes, bistros, and bars offering local flavor. While there’s no 24/7 room service, the communal vibe and nearby options make up for it.

Nightlife Options

La Loggia Art B&B is just a short stroll or metro ride from Montreal’s bustling nightlife. Whether you’re heading to an underground club, a cozy lounge, or a bar with live music, you’re right in the mix. While the B&B itself is a quiet retreat, its central location means the city’s nightlife is always within reach.

What People Say

Guests rave about the welcoming hosts, artistic atmosphere, and peaceful garden. Many love the easy access to public transportation and walkability to key attractions and venues. Reviews highlight the cleanliness, comfort, and personalized touches—from plush robes and slippers to curated décor.

Areas for Improvement

There’s no elevator on-site, so pack light if you're staying in an upper-floor room. Some guests note that the artistic decor may not be for everyone, but most find it adds to the charm. Also, while the quiet vibe is a perk for many, it might not suit those looking for a party atmosphere.

The Bottom Line

For music fans who want charm, comfort, and a central location with a peaceful twist, La Loggia Art B&B hits all the right notes.

Great location with ok accommodations

Liked: Location is excellent for getting just about anywhere on foot and via the metro. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.
Disliked: The room we were in is the big one in the basement. There are two big skylight windows that basically anyone in the patio up stairs can see down through. Although they had blinds in them only one had the ability to close the blinds completely. Also the stairs up to the bathroom are very awkward and need to have a few more stairs. It feels like you have to take huge steps to get up into the bathroom. In the evening it’s feels precarious to go to the toilet.

Sadly, would not stay again…

Liked: Location met our needs. Host was super friendly. Very nice family.
Disliked: The Owner really should consider some minor repairs and general cleaning. Attention to details- very important as people have options for other places to stay. The room was dusty; both picture frames, mouldings and corners. There was mildew in the shower, there was also dirt on the outside of the shower surround. The towel rack hanging from the door was broken so you could not hang towels there. The shelf over top of sink was loose so not functional. A huge piece of paint was peeling from the bathroom wall. The sink in the kitchenette needed a good scouring. If you like a dark room at night, you will not get that here. There is a bright light in the hallway and another outside on the patio. Unfortunately both doors are glass and the blinds do not fully keep the light out. Not sure how the rooms are vented, but unfortunately our room always smelled of food cooking upstairs. ☹️

Nice!

Liked: The hosts are super welcoming, accessible and the breakfast is something to look forward to.
Disliked: I didn’t get the best room, with a small window towards the street. But no problem, as the terrace is really nice - find something similar in Montreal!

Great value B&B hotel

Liked: We had a lovely stay at La Loggia Art B&B! The room was spacious and comfortable, and every morning we enjoyed a variety of breakfast options, including some delicious homemade hot dishes. The location is perfect—just 10–15 minutes’ walk to the Old Port, with metro stations nearby too.Highly recommend this place—friendly people, great location, and cozy atmosphere. Would definitely come back!
