Beautiful and historic, centrally-located hotel...

Liked: Perfect location in the center of Santa Fe. Dinner at La Plazuela was exceptional. It was the best meal I've had in a long time.

Enjoyable but skip the restaurant

Liked: The roof top bar was fabulous although hot. The art through out was beautiful and the entire place had so much character.
Disliked: The large main restaurant was beautiful but staff and management were terrible. They were unfriendly and inappropriately chintzy. Our waiter dumped what was left of a bottle of wine into my glass in front of us. He said ‘perfect’ as if it were acceptable. The wine was well below the bottom of the flower that they use to make sure that they don’t over pour. The waiter knew it was a bad pour and we had to argue to get even a normal pour. He said that he would go get the manager to discuss it with us. We dropped the subject not wanting a scene. Several minutes later he went to get another bottle and actually poured it to the bottom of the flower with the new bottle. It left a bad taste in our mouth having the waiter try to get away with what he did. The rest of the meal was basically grating after such a terrible start.
