Beautiful and peaceful property just a short drive from Modena.

Liked: A beautifully converted old farmhouse into a B&B where they also make balsamic vinegar. The whole place was thoughtfully and comfortably finished and made for a cosy stay both inside and out! We were incredibly lucky as there were no other guests staying and we had the whole place to ourselves! The team running it were super friendly and helpful and we very much enjoyed our private balsamic vinegar tour and tasting.
Disliked: There were WIFI issues while we stayed which made it a little challenging if you didn't want your phone on roaming the whole time. A TV in the bedroom would have been a nice touch.

I'm not sure I would stay again.

Liked: The breakfast was very good and Roberta, who made our breakfast and gave us a tour of the balsamic vinegar facilities, which were in the same building as we slept in was fantastic. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The location was in the countryside, so was very quiet.
Disliked: When we first stepped into the room, we noticed 2 things. The room was very small and it was very hot inside. The heating was turned up way too high that it was almost suffocating. The bathroom was very large, almost as big as the bedroom but was not well appointed. No place to hang towels used at the sink with only two towel holders at the far end of the bathroom. Those towel holders were for the bath towels once used. I thought they were inconveniently located even for use in the shower. The shower was very large but it only had a shower head coming from the wall. There was no telescoping handheld shower head like you find in almost every modern Italian home. Getting back to the size of the room, I was surprised at how small it was because looking at the photos on Booking.com it is hard to understand just how small it is. I know, it's only for sleeping but still, I like having a sense of space when I'm renting a room, especially for the price you pay. Luckily, our stay was only for 1 night.

Beautifully renovated place, with balsamic vinegar storage attic

Liked: Breakfast was excellent, as they added their balsamic vinegar to some of the dishes freshly made. We could choose what we wanted the night before and a very nice cook came to prepare the dishes in the morning.
