Horrible stay in Ft Lauderdale

Liked: I did not like at all. I definitely would not recommend.
Disliked: The facility was under repairs, but there was no obvious sign.The hotel was being repaired.They put us up in an apartment on the next street, which was filthy and dirty. I was in a room alone with an adjoining door, which the man in that room could open. I contacted the manager on duty, and she Saud he could not. I asked her to follow me to the room. She followed and I opened the adjoining door and she spoke to the man in the room. I told her that I could not stay in that room with such danger and it was not safe for a woman.She moved me to another room but it was dirty and I had such fear there that I couldn't sleep. It was not in a safe or favorable area. I should receive a partial refund.

Liked: This is one of my favorite spots in this area. La Casa is a comfortable place to spend some time on the beach!

Liked: It was cute, clean well maintained.
Disliked: Difficulty finding the office it was down the street . Someone at the pool gave me directions. The receptionist was very helpful. She walked me to a parking space.

Liked: location to the beach and restaurants all within a short walking distance, room comfortable and clean, albeit furnishings and decor a little tired and dated
Disliked: arrival instructions unclear. you need to check in at another hotel along the street as Las Casa is part of a consortium of 9 hotels in the vicinity. we spent too long using the call button on the wall of our hotel, with no one answering because one guy was managing reception, and portering, for multiple properties

Won’t stay there again.

Liked: The pool area
Disliked: The rooms were outdated. Soap dish was barely connected to wall, 1 light was missing by the mirror. Gaps all around door. People to the left made us feel uncomfortable by accusing us we didn’t have a room there.
