Disappointing

Liked: Did not use it.
Disliked: The room size.

We would 100% stay here...

Liked: We loved their boutique style hotel and design and service.
Disliked: The check in process was lengthy. They could benefit from a better software or connection or whatever was making it a lengthy process in their systems.

Exceptional

Liked: The proximity to the beach was the best part. Everything was in walking distance. The staff was very friendly.

We expected a lot more...

Liked: Its really near the sea and in good walking distance to the best spots in Laguna Beach
Disliked: We had a room with no bathroom door, the TV didnt work(no sound and no cable TV) and we slept right next to an exit door, which always closed very loudly. Everything in our room seemed dated and misplaced. From the outside and in the lobby the hotel looks nice, but our room was one star at best. And: In the end there was a additional Resort Fee on the bill, after we already payed everything in advance(Resort Fee included).

Liked: Roof top lounge.
Disliked: This time the room was tight. could barely move around. Tv remotes were wonky. You need two remotes to turn on/off, change channel, volume up/down. They did supply us with 2 camp chairs for my wife and I but last time they were a folding type lawn chair that was short for sitting on the beach. This time they were camping chairs in a bag. Easy to transport but lousy for beach use.
