Liked: Gorgeous property. Great pool area. Wonderful restaurants.
Disliked: The bedding was horrible. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The “new” shower looks great with pretty tile and gold hardware but barely spits out water. When using the sprayer, I had to hold down a button to make the hand-held sprayer work. If I stopped pushing the button, the sprayer stopped. My shower took much longer than normal because it was hard to rinse the conditioner from my hair. The cheap hairdryer in the drawer didn’t help matters either. I didn’t want to wear the one “spa” robe in the room because it felt like suede. The giant magnifying make up mirror is wonderful, except it was broken and leaning to one side. In short, La Cantera is great except for the two most important aspects you need to relax and rest in your room. We won’t return. After the big remodel, it’s a let down.

Liked: First class hotel with beautiful pools and a free shuttle to mall, restaurants and Six Flags. Gorgeous golf course and great restaurant by the course.
