Brilliant location, poor facilities
Liked: You can’t find a better location than this.
Disliked: Facilities. Basic necessities that you expect in any hotel were missing but provided when requested. For example, there was no air-conditioning, no mirror in the room and no kettle for tea.

Liked: Nice hotel at very center of Brussels. Easy to walk around.
Disliked: It’s not convenience to walk with luggage from Brussel central to hotel as the road is difficult for rollers. Get to hotel by tram or taxi is better.

Liked: Spacious room.
Disliked: The noise coming from the street was really loud. There was no soundproofing at all. Definitely the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The finishes were a bit worn and could use an update.

Great location and spacious room...
Liked: The room size was great; very big and spacious for 5 people. It was in a great location and had friendly staff.
Disliked: It seemed like the hotel wanted to give off luxury vibes but in reality, the carpet was very dirty/cheap, the elevator got stuck every day and the lights in the hallways didn’t work. The bathroom had cool temperature settings in the mirror but the shower head was inefficient.

Really great location - especially...
Liked: Great location! Located in a non-auto area but an Uber or taxi can stop very close to the hotel. We had a higher floor room so we had great views of the area. Also wonderful to have a lift! Staff were helpful and friendly. They also let us leave our luggage after check out.
Disliked: Not an attractive lobby. Quite dark and small. Room for 2 people quite small.

Liked: Superb location right in the heart of Brussels opposite the Bourse with museums and a sky bar. Supermarket just around the corner. Staff were all pleasant and friendly. We stayed in a quadruple room with Air-conditioning but the air-conditioning wasn't really up to the job. The room had a mezzanine level which gave some privacy for us/the kids and made use of the high ceilings of this historic building. We were to the rear of the building so didn't get a view but it was quiet. Air fresheners throughout the stairwells masked/overpowered the cooking smells mentioned in many of the recent reviews. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: The mini fridge was broken. We reported it but it wasn't fixed during our stay. We couldn't get the TV to work (but didn't really need it - unlike the fridge). The shower/bathroom was rather dated (but with a Bluetooth mirror for music) but it was serviceable. - just don't expect a lot of water pressure or a rainforest shower experience.
