Kyriad Paris 10 - Gare Du Nord

not a very nice area...

Liked: Very close to Paris Gare du Nord station
Disliked: very small lift struggled to fit myself and luggage in the lift, and the area around the hotel lots of rough sleeping and beggars around making it feel very unsafe. Also the room was fairly clean but on closer inspection found the bedframe very worn and sheets with lots of stains in them and in the bathroom in the corners there was lots of mold and dirt

Good clean, convenient hotel for...

Liked: Hotel is nicely situated across from Gare du Nord and includes a very nice breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Given its location it is not too loud, but you can at times hear trains underground- not enough to disturb sleep. It was perfect for a stayover in transit, but could be cramped for a longer stay.
Disliked: It is hard to find the entrance, it would help to have a better/bigger sign over entrance itself. The bathroom/shower door makes it hard to keep the water in. There was only 1 bath towel per person, no extra towel to dry hands.

Useful if you’re staying only...

Liked: Really close to gare du nord. You can easily walk with your luggage.
Disliked: Rooms too small as same as bathroom and the lift.

Disliked: Aircon not working, but room provided with fan, therefore very hot during heatwave.
