Liked: We were very impressed with each staff member's attention to detail. From the check in process, to assisting us with our accomodations for comfort, they went above and beyond. We look forward to returning.
Disliked: We feel the terrace is outdated and uninviting. It does not fit the charming atmosphere of the hotel.

Liked: Hotel location was in quiet part of city, though central, grounds are beautiful and all design elements in the hotel. We enjoyed our room which was junior sweet, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, good selection of a la carte and buffet, staff friendly and helpful - star of the show is Spencer restaurant - amazing experience and food.
Disliked: Nothing.

Breathtaking meets service and style!

Liked: Absolutely beautiful!! The transformation of this historic building into a hotel could not highlight the beautiful features and space any better. ALL the staff were so attentive and also provided a wealth of information. The eclectic collection of artwork throughout was fantastic--we were told it is changed out every two weeks. The bar is alluring, but don't miss having drinks in the courtyard. Having the dining area elevated into the main space--well, it was just stunning (as was the breakfast!). Our room was on the main floor and overlooked a garden area. We loved the spacious bath, the high ceilings, the mix of old and new!
Disliked: We really like and don't mind walking...but if you are looking to be "in the middle of things," this may be a bit of a walk for you. Still...don't miss staying here!
