Liked: The owner was very kind and the room was clean.
Disliked: The beds were a little springy and the building was just old so it showed some aging. My kids were not light on their feet and we could feel every step and I am sure the downstairs people did too.

Bog-standard Roadside Motel

Liked: Bog-standard motel. Clean. Cheap. Right off the highway. Somewhat updated.
Disliked: The shower was one of the worst. Run around to get wet as pressure was so low. Pillows uncomfortable. Recommend a sleep mask if light bothers you. Really bright lights outside door.

Cozy, clean and unexpected Good...

Liked: It's an older building and establishment. basic and slightly modernized but definately not the new and shiny builds. Still the room was decent, amenities were exactly what's needed, nothing more nothing less.room was fair sized, then again it's a room. You're not supposed to be living out of it 24/7.Bed was super comfy, had cable etc. didn't really watch it as I don't watch a lot of TV. Road noise was there as it's directly on the main road but with the fan/AC on most of that was drowned out with the white noise.Management were friendly and efficient. didnt need house keeping as I wasn't there for a long stay.over all a great stay at decent and good value for money. if you're wanting fancy then this wouldn't be your stay over, of you just want clean, value for money and comfortable beds to sleep in... this place hits those checkpoints.
Disliked: Not really a complaint, as it's to be expected with an older building, however the basin in the bathroom was looking tired and had what you'd think are dirt marks but it's just the marks from cleaning over decades.the extraction fan was super loud but it wasn't on for a long period so didn't bother me enough to be an issue.The shower was crazy wild. you had either scorched earth hot or freezing cold. getting the balance to acceptable (but still on the super hot side) was a matter of full open cold water and 1/8 turn on the hot water. any more and you'd be in scorched earth temp again.makes for some fun and excitement I suppose getting that balance for your needs right.the floor boards were squeaking in spots and the carpets would need replacing soon I'm going to suggest so that the flooring can be fastened down again.The room was clean and fresh smelling, no odors and strange things, but it is dated.
