Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed...

Disliked: No service whatsoever. No response to emails. Signage that points to services that dont exist. No glassesprovided to drink water. Need to use your mobile for everything. No digital key card. A toilet that leaks everytime you flush. Musty smelling towels. A harsh cold environment that is nothing like the photos. We had to move out after 2 nights and find alternative accommodation.

Cool concept, but too many...

Disliked: I stayed at this self-service hotel and appreciate the modern, tech-forward approach—but there are several things that need improvement.First, the entire stay is managed by phone—you need it to open the front door, room door, everything. I’m not against the idea, but it should be marketed clearly as a tech hotel or app-based check-in, so guests know what to expect. Also, all emails were only in German. I mean… this is a hotel—non-German speaking tourists are a possibility!The shower looks very trendy, but it’s not practical. No matter how carefully I used it, the bathroom floor ended up completely soaked. Then with wet feet, the floor in the bedroom became dangerously slippery—I nearly slipped. On top of that, the toilet has such a small light you can barely see anything. (Not ideal for those who like to catch up on reading in there…)I tried calling to request extra towels but got no reply. You’re really left to your own devices—literally. The towel rack in the shower fits only one towel, and not even well. What if two people are staying?There’s no wardrobe—just three hangers on a small coat rack. In winter? That’s a stretch. The room actually has plenty of space, so a proper wardrobe wouldn’t hurt.I also went to the hotel café for breakfast and was surprised to find they don’t accept card payments. Very odd, considering everything else about the hotel revolves around using your phone.For the price, I would expect much more. Overall, it’s a clever concept, but too many small quirks make the stay more frustrating than fun.

Overall a great stay in...

Liked: Great location, easy to get to and rooms were lovely and a good size. Very clean and quiet and the staff were very helpful when needed.
Disliked: I didn’t dislike anything about the property but would have been great to have more hanging space for clothes and a full length mirror in the room. Also lighting in the room is very dark.
