Located in 1.5 acres of elevated grounds 'Knockendarroch Hotel is 5 minutes' walk from Pitlochry town center. The elegant rooms offer wonderful views of Tummel Valley Ben Vrackie or the pretty gardens. Set in a magnificent stone-built Victorian building the rooms have been individually decorated in a simple elegant style. All rooms have an private bathroom and a TV. The period property features original features and traditional charm. The dinner menu changes daily and includes vegetarian options. The lounge has cozy log fires and offers a selection of malt whiskeys and gins and wines. Special diets can be catered for and packed lunches and early breakfasts are not available on request. The Knockendarroch Hotel is less than a mile from the Festival Theater Pitlochry Railway Station and the Tummel River. The Scottish Highlands are well known for cycling walking fishing and hunting and Edinburgh city center is a 1 hour and 25-minute drive away.

Perfect few days

Liked: Perfection from the hotel ambience , delicious food for breakfast and dinner and very pleasant staff . The hotel location, with hill and forest views was beautiful. Faultlessly clean and in excellent decorative order.

Simply lovely.

Liked: It’s lovely period building with great staff and amazing food. It is also very convenient to take the short walk into Pitlochry Main Street.
Disliked: Great location, garden and views with a lovely building and furnishings topped offwith a lovely team delivering a very welcoming experience and great food.

Exquisite short break.

Liked: The breakfast was superb - good choice of classics on the menu and portions that were just right. Peaceful, quiet dining room and excellent service. The food was spot on.

Very nice, will return

Liked: Very good food, comfortable room and bed, friendly helpful staff, lovely old house and excellent location
Disliked: Long climb up to room - steep stairs (help was offered with luggage).
