Liked: Fantastic historical property, looks and feels like a “mini castle”. Super friendly and helpful staff. Amazing surroundings and views of the lake.
Disliked: Quite a remote location but it adds its own appeal.

Liked: The house is in a beautiful location overlooking Lock Long. Very friendly and helpful staff especially with our two noisy pups. The food is exceptional. We ate in the restaurant both nights.
Disliked: We stayed in room 16 which was lovely and big and looked newly decorated. However there was a strong sewage smell from the bathroom and scaffolding up with old roofing tiles outside the window. There are double doors from the back of the room down a very rusty and slippy iron stairs down to a private patio area that had bags full of abandoned black bags of leaves and old shears.

Disliked: Our room was in the side of the house. The stair carpet to it was v worn and needed a hoover. Our room was tiny, the paintwork was scuffed, had no view and the noise of of kitchen fans was annoying. The bed springs were very uncomfortable. The bathroom toilet had a poor flush. The mirror light didn't work.We were very disappointed. Not worth the money.
