Steven, visiting Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach

I was so disappointed in this hotel. I paid $109.00 for the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The receptionist forgetting to activate my key was the first sign that things were going downhill. Secondly, the toilet did not work. Thirdly, the bathtub was not clean - hair was left in it. The whole place looked nasty. The next morning, the breakfast was unreal. There was no milk for the cereal, no butter for the waffles, no cream cheese for the bagel. I would not have minded the $109 if I had got decent service. They say "never say never" but NEVER AGAIN.

Liked: In a very nice area - able to walk to the mall and several restaurants.
Disliked: The room smelled like urine and smoke - I reserved a no smoking room. There were stains on the floor and sheets of the roll away bed.

Liked: Nothing. The manager tried to fight my husband because we asked them for water. The hotel didnt have running water for more than 7 hours and everytime when you asked they said it is not my problem. NEVER GO THERE. I am putting a picture of the manager who came everytime following us trying to fight my husband. He even took my husband's phone from his hand while we were in the customer care line for booking and yell at the booking person on the line.
Disliked: Everything. Everything was awful

Felt very unwelcoming and unsafe,...

Liked: The employee who was there on the morning of my checkout was very friendly. Bedsheets were clean. Water didnt work on one of the days we were staying, I would love for the company to reach out to me and try to fix the terrible experience my family and I had. I appreciate that the woman working the day of my check-in who's behavior was completely unacceptable was fired but unfortunatly my family and I didnt get the experience we were promised or deserved because of it and I don't believe the money was worth it. I think a refund or discount is more Than fair in this situation
Disliked: It's more like a motel and not a hotel as advertised. Very outdated, looked like dried blood on our lampshade, floors felt and looked like they don't get swept or mopped. Bathtubs and sinks are very outdated and discolored. There was also black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and we had young children, two with asthma and one on a cpap machine during our stay so that could be very dangerous for our health. We traveled from Ohio to Virginia and after a long trip we did not feel welcome or safe upon arrival. I left my husband and kids in the car as I checked in and when I got inside the female employee was cursing, being very rude and very invasive of personal space. She led me outside the building and tried to lead me to the chucky cheese to wait to be checked in then when i refused she started smoking weed with other guests of the property in the parking lot. After the male employee (Who seemed very stressed because he was checking in a bus full of people by himself) finally finished booking ten rooms before me had got me checked in I went to my room and was giving the wrong room number so someone else was in the room I thought was ours so I had to go back in to get the right room key. I then went to my car to unpack. Once out there the female employee came around, went into another guests room while they were standing outside smoking, grabbed their toddler and brought him to my car and tried to put their kid in my car while im telling her that was not my child, she then proceeded to try and call my toddler over to her and my husband took my kids into the room away from her and she proceeded to walk towards me as I have my luggage in my hands, hugs me and kisses me on the cheek and I felt completely uncomfortable. She had alcohol on her breath and with her behavior i did not feel safe going in and complaining while being there in fear she might retaliate in some way, especially since she was already trying to grab peoples kids up.

Bad Visit to Va

Liked: The Location Only
Disliked: The toilet had fecal matter in it when checked in the following day the water was off for 6 or more hours and the staff was very inconsiderate about the matter. When I asked about water the lady behind the counter told me there's a vending machine and pointed.
