Lorna, Binghamton

Pool wasn't working and was green. Needs either a wrecking ball or a major renovation.

Liked: Right off Route 17.
Disliked: The place was very outdated and looked dirty because everything is old. Stale cigarette smell was awful.

Lacey, Liberty

I booked and paid for my hotel room weeks in advance and when I got there they did not have the type of room that I had booked available. They took almost 45 minutes to find a room that was remotely close to what I booked, which made me late for the event that I was attending. I will never book with this hotel again.

Liked: The room was fairly clean.
Disliked: They didn't have my room available when I arrived.

Bad

Liked: The area wasn't too bad. They did include free breakfast, however, I did not take advantage of this.
Disliked: The room I stayed in was not completely clean. I was able to find strands of hair that were not mine or my partners, by the bed, and some in the bathroom. Some of the lights in the room were very very dim, the lightbulbs were close to going out. One day in, I started getting bit by something, and I assumed it was a mosquito in the room. To my surprise, it was a bedbug. Left 4 nasty bites on me, and after stripping the sheets, I found a dead bedbug woven into the mattress. When I told the front desk about this, and simply just wanted a room change--the gentleman that was working the kitchen during breakfast hours was there. He insisted that my partner and I must have brought in the bedbug, otherwise, we both would have been bit since the first night. He was very stubborn and blaming us for this, and claiming that their rooms are well maintained, and that no one else has ever complained about that room. I took offense to a few things he was saying about their housekeeper, including that he is an uneducated Hispanic man and that's why he is a housekeeper. My partner started raising their voice to him and that's when he started to simmer down. Finally, he had us send the pictures of the bedbug to his phone number, and eventually changed our room. He said he was not supposed to change rooms because then he'll get in trouble with the manager, of which was 'out of office until next day,' so he told us to leave our belongings in our original room, while we stayed in the new room. We took everything with us to our new room and found that it was worse than the previous room. The only lights that worked well were the 2 lamps hung above the bed. The light at the entrance did not work at all. The bathroom light was barely working, and when it did work, there was a lot of flickering -- a phone flashlight worked better to light up the bathroom. More hair by the bed, on the counter, by the bathroom, and some even on the bed itself.

Liked: The location if I have to say something positive and food could be delivered.
Disliked: This "hotel" is absolutely disgusting. Bugs, trash, police arrivals, swearing & yelling at al hours. The "breakfast" was off brand coffee and some bread for toast. It was just pretty gross. No disrespect to the homeless that are obviously living there

Liked: Unfortunately, the condition of this hotel is so bad, it takes away any good that was done.
Disliked: This hotel must be closed and fumigated. This hotel is literally a ROACH MOTEL! I want to call the health department against this hotel. I was killing and praying roaches my whole time there. This hotel must close. Don't go there please!!!
