I'd stay here again

Liked: The good: convenient location, cozy room, friendly staff, good tv options, one level motel (I love parking right in front of my door), and I felt very safe here as a woman traveling alone. Cold a/c, close to plenty of stores and restaurants, decent shower, low price. They also let me check in early, so that was a definite plus.
Disliked: The not-so-good: the bed seemed grimy (one of those hideous bedspreads that's probably been in use since the 90s), bed was saggy and squeaky (I still slept fine though). Room and property are pretty run-down and in need of TLC (i.e. my door had clearly been damaged at some point, peeling paint, pool closed down with caution tape around it, etc) but the room was pretty clean to the naked eye. No hair dryer in the room was a bummer. I had to go buy one at Walmart.

Awful decision to stay here!!...

Liked: There is nothing good to say about the property.
Disliked: My first room I was in was dirty, food and trash still on the floors/window. The 2nd room I looked at there was makeup on the bedding and dirty all over the floor. Dust covered both rooms. The 3rd room I looked at was ok. I still ended up going and buying my own bedding and cleaning supplies to clean before I could even sit down. The towels had stains everywhere and I had to clean a softball size hairball out of the drain before I could shower. I was there for two nights! After the first night someone called from the front desk stating that I needed to move rooms. I ended up walking to the office to speak to her. When arriving there was 3 ladies standing there, one looks at another and say oh boy I’ll let you handle this one. I go on to tell her about everything from the night before. She did not care at all, no apologies nothing. She just states that she has someone checking into my room and the front desk should have never put me in that room. I let her know that I am unable to move rooms at this time I have school/work to get to and even if I did it would be until later that evening. She was still insisting that I can’t be in that room. Now to say it was a handicap room(I am not) but there was multiple others open. After about 15-20minutes of talking about the situation she says fine just stay. Even at the end of all of that there was still no apology no explanation to anything. The other two in the background snickering and carrying on still. The lady I’m speaking with huffing around. The hairball is after I flushed 2 others. The cleaning towel was after it had been washed out. Tub pic is what I walked into! To say I clean from top to bottom for 2 hrs is an understatement.

Get what you pay for.

Liked: The staff was great. Helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Disliked: Finding the remains of bed bugs in the first room we were in. Thankfully the desk clerk was more than willing to put us in another room like we had reserved.We also found out the pool was closed as were all the pools in the area due to some regulations all the pools had to do.My granddaughters went to the office to get more coffee packets and the clerk told her she couldn't get it to her, so she gave her a hot cup of coffee. I was too tired from the day to bother getting it. I did like that the McDonald's and a convenient market were close by.The way the pictures were taken of the rooms made them look really nice. Upon walking in, not so much. The pillows were super thin so we were able to get extras.I know we pretty much got what we paid for. They do have a good staff. Just the rooms could use some TLC in the beds, walls and carpet.Also there wasn't a stopper in the bathtub. Glad I didn't lose anything in the drain

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful,and the room was clean.
Disliked: There were coffee grounds in the room but there wasn't any coffee pot.
