Liked: Right next to everything literally just turn the corner and everything is a nice walking distance.
Disliked: N/a

Pricey during the summer

Liked: Very central and accessible if you are in Edinburgh for the Fringe
Disliked: The extortionate price they charged for the room due to the Fringe, Oasis and the Tattoo all being in at the same time. £390 for a room that would be work £80 at best any other time of the year.

Liked: Clean and comfortable room (even though it’s quite small). Friendly staff. Closely located to Arthur’s Seat, which is a great hike to a beautiful view over the city.
Disliked: The area is kind of cheap-touristy. Price per night is very high, however, understandable with Fringe and other festivals going on at the same time in August.

Liked: The hotel was in a great location in central Edinburgh, but on a quiet street. The room was fairly small but perfect for just one my night stay, perhaps not for an extended stay. It was spotlessly clean and the shower was excellent. I didn’t like the location of the coffee making facilities right next to the bed and pillow. It was a bit awkward making coffee in the morning. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would absolutely stay here again. Only negative was the price. I stayed during the festival, so it was very expensive.
