Liked: Comfy rooms, friendly staff. Fifteen minute walk from the bus stop (coming from Stromness) in a quiet neighbourhood. Kitchen was clean! Laundry and car park available if you need it.

Overall we had a very...

Liked: Kirkwall is run like a hostel - rooms for sleeping, shared bathroom facilities and access to laundry and kitchen facilities with guest fridges etc. The laundry had an inside drying area which was amazing. The beds were hard and could do with an eggshell topper but the quilts were warm as was the rooms. The showers were hot and in some rooms the showers had toilets in the same room but no toilet paper.
Disliked: The n o toilet paper at toilets in the same room with the shower and the beds could have had a softer top.
