Would have been a perfect...
Liked: Rooms were exceptionally clean, much better than some 3 star hotels we have stayed in. Great check/checkout service. Free bag storage after checkout. Free coffee, all day and night. 24hour member of staff on reception. Very comfortable bed. Quiet room. Good transport links. Friendly staff.
Disliked: When we came to leave and couldn't get out, (access is via a lift to the first floor). The lift was being serviced so we had to be "let out" of a fire exit by a member of staff, but nobody was sure of the process, the staff member had to open it with a code from outside, but it wouldn't open even when we were pressing the emergency bar on the inside. One wonders what would of happened had there been a fire and we had needed to get out via this fire exit. Also the air conditioning unit in the room wasn't working on what was probably the hottest night in years, it was still something like 30 degrees outside at 10pm,

Terrible
Liked: Room is so hot with no air con and the shared bathroom is between many room and pretty dirty, couldn’t actually breath in the room due to lack of window and no air con. Would never stay again! Also walls so thin can hear noise all night so zero sleep between that and the hell inferno temperature

Pleasant
Liked: Clean and tidy, close to station
Disliked: More than one pillow or a thicker pillow, beds are very low for people with mobility issues. And no tea or coffee unless you are on Instagram.

Hostel, not a hotel.
Liked: The hotel is handy for getting about Hackney and very close to the station.
Disliked: My room was not ready on arrival and so I had to wait. Then a friend or other hotel worker came in with a.male to check in. The friend immediately went behind reception and spoke to the receptionist. The receptionist then radioed for the maid to prioritise this room, meaning I had to wait longer. The hotel was full and there seemed to be a lot of people waiting on rooms that were not ready. It's more of a hostel than a hotel. My room was the size of a broom cupboard, had no window and wasn't the cleanest.
