Everything is great just the...

Disliked: Railway station next to the window

OK for an overnight stay
Liked: We stayed here as we were attending a gig at the London Stadium, so was in the perfect location one stop away on the train and located right next to Hackney Central. We had a double room with private bathroom. Although we were located right next to the railway, the window had an outer and inner window, so we never heard the trains. Room was basic, but clean. It had everything we needed for a one night stay. Bathroom was compact, but shower was good. The aircon worked ok. I've read other reviews to say there wasn't any, but our room definitely had it.
Disliked: Mattress wasn't the comfiest and only 1 pillow each on a double bed, which were extremely thin, so we had to fold them over to be able to sleep properly.Reception is on the first floor and only accessible by lift, which there is only one of, so at busy times, it is a pain to get to.

Good
Liked: Modern small room, nothing wrong with it but probably wouldn't want to be there more than one night.
Disliked: Quite a stern receptionist.

Passable
Liked: The beds were comfortable and clean. The hotel has good wifi connection.
Disliked: It's awfully hot in the room, and there is no air conditioning, or it doesn't work at all. The bathroom door is a sliding door, so know that you'll have no privacy when it comes to using the toilet (you can see and hear everything). There are no plugs in the bathroom. The staff is not very welcoming. The ladies in the lobby are not very friendly, to say the least.

"Overall, my stay was wonderful,...
Liked: I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. I love the aesthetics. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Also it was a convenient location. Highly recommend!
Disliked: The only thing I didn’t like was the non-adjustable showerhead, which made it hard to avoid getting my hair wet. Overall, highly recommend!

Don't be fooled by the...
Liked: One of the staff members was good, and the cleaning staff were great. The location is wonderful if you're into the bar/nightlife scene (you could even walk to Dalton or just take the Overground one stop), but not so good if you just want to do touristy stuff in central London.
Disliked: The rooms are SUPER HOT. The temperature outside was a moderate 60 F, but the room itself was 80-85 F with absolutely no ventilation. When they say AC, they mean the hallways and the front desk. And if you're thinking of opening a window, most of those rooms don't have windows in a closet-sized space. And if you want to get some of the ventilation from the hallway, good luck -- you could see directly onto my bed if you kept the door open with the lock. Believe it or not, they ran out of fans my first night (unbelievable -- these rooms are actual closets with no windows, so they should provide everyone with a fan if the AC doesn't work...), so there was literally nothing you could do.

Pleasant
Liked: Great location. Good value for money for easy access to central London. The accommodation was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: It was quite warm in the room, although it had been one of the hottest days of the year. There was no way to control temperature in the room, and there are no windows to open.My fellow guests were also quite noisy until late at night and then early in the morning, but this wasn’t really the fault of the venue.
