Liked: Excellent location
Disliked: Room facilities a bit poor. No charging points (usb), sink didn’t drain properly, shower had a broken fitting, and bedroom was exceptionally hot overnight. Had to put a fan in at 5am to help sleep but it was obviously noisy…..

We loved Kinnettles location and...

Huge potential…let down by poor...

Disliked: The man who was managing the early breakfast service had a very overpowering smell of body odour which was beyond unpleasant; the man who took over from him was much better, but at any form of food service this sort of issue should not be occurring.I had a room on the top floor and when I went to leave my room after breakfast the exit to the stairs (fire exit), was entirely blocked with a large pile of laundry bags.Just not brilliant when the hotel has a great location and bags of potential

2 Star Hotel at best...

Liked: The location was great
Disliked: Our 3 kids were in a suite in the main hotel, but my wife and I were in a room in the annex across the road.The annex room was on the ground floor and extremely noisy with traffic and passing drunk students. The room was also not clean, paint coming off the wall, poorly designed bathroom…. All of this would have been bearable had it not cost £1700 for 2 nights. We thought we were booking somewhere special, in fact it was a very average hotel… there is no way this is 5 star or even 4 star. I should have booked Russacs or the Old Course Hotel.No apology from the hotel, we were given contact details of management which we emailed a couple of times, no one bothered to get back.
