Disliked: No bar or room service. Spa not available unless booked for private use and fully booked before we got a look in.

Liked: Location: very central in St Andrews to town, golf & beaches. Spa in basement of main building but must book a slot in advance.
Disliked: Split with annexe across the road & a bit impersonal with one member of staff on & often had to ring a bell. No lounge area or bar. Big complaint was our room not cleaned, cups/tea/coffee not refilled and were out all day from 9.30am until 4.30pm. Breakfast apart from ordering something cooked from the one staff member, it was buffet style and simple. Would have been so much nicer if had drinks orders, juice taken at the table instead of working out how to use the one coffee machine.

An excellent location and would...

Liked: We were in the annex across the road, this was perfect for a group of golfers. Great sized rooms, nicely finished and clean.
