Great room for a great...

Easy having dining and bar...

Liked: Warm welcome and the staff were very obliging

Nightmare!

Liked: The view and Carnoustie itself.
Disliked: The reception wasn't particularly welcoming.There wasn't a restaurant with food available and no breakfast on offer as the chef didn't start until 11am by which time we had checked out anyway.The Internet wasn't available and the TV didn't work.The beds were uncomfortable and the room was cold.Hygiene, just about passable.I would advise anyone to give it a wide berth!!

Served it's purpose. Good value

Liked: Location was great. Short walk from the train station, in the middle of the town and close to the beach. The room was spacious for 4 people. TV was huge. Plenty of teabags and coffee sachets etc. Room was ready when we arrived 2 hours before check in. Staff were lovely and helpful and the bar area and outdoor seating was lovely. Plenty of pillows on the bed.
Disliked: Bed was a bit hard. Floor could have been cleaner and there was a bottle top on the bathroom floor which was left from the people before us. Water pressure was terrible. No hairdryer but provided on request. No breakfast available as they only put it on if 4 or more people want it, but we weren't asked when we checked in.

Disliked: Thought it was dear for a single person and no breakfast. In the morning noone about left key in box and walked out the door .Didn't see or spoke to anyone .

Disliked: Heater couldn’t be turned off. Shower water temperature impossible to regulate. Nowhere to have breakfast. Nobody around next morning.

Very good
