Liked: Relatively new owners who are making improvements to this hotel.Room good, food good and all at a reasonable cost.
Disliked: Rail track on other side of main road, but it was no issue for us.

Liked: Staff made you feel welcome
Disliked: Room was a bit small and dated..but clean and tidy..Room could do with a makeover and fan in toilet was really loud..Could here every footstep from room above.

Liked: Our room was a good size,with a nice view out the window,but even better with a balcony,The breakfast was excellent aswell,well cooked and plenty choices.

Liked: Best hotel in UK I have stayed in in last 12 years. Great Location fantastic staff - Dev owner offered to pick me up at port when i arrived at 0100 and there were no taxis. Really exceptional service and value for money.Full breakfast was amazing served in a stunning dining room by friendly staff. After checking out receptionist drove me to loacal rail way station- basically if you need anything call and ask.

Bad

Liked: Shower didn't work told they would move us to another room but they let it out so offered us to use a shower in another room. Got kept up all night with room next door reception said they would refund part the stay but haven't
Disliked: Black mould round taps and expected us to walk corridor in towel after shower even tho room was supposed to have showerThe lamp was covered in coffee stains

Liked: The breakfast was exceptionally delicious. We had dinner there as well and it was terrific. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The view was tremendous.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

Friendly welcome perfect view

Liked: Worked in hotels I could pick up points that wasn’t great however the room was ok furnished lovely decorated to a high standard the bed was clean huge and very comfortable slept really good in it The view was nice would be unreal on a warm dayBreakfast was from 8am howeva wen we arrived down stairs it was all in darkness however the chef did tell us to find a seat wen he got the lights and he even grabbed us and the other man a cuppa while he got sorted Was a wedding on that we was told about wen booking in there was loud music on til 12 but to be really honest once the tv was on it didn’t bother us and didn’t disturb us or our sleep which was fantastic Breakfast was really nice and hot wen it was served and again a lovely view while eating it Would use again really good price
