Liked: Super dog friendly which was our main priority for this trip. Rooms were very clean and comfy with friendly and helpful staff. Lovely garden area with nice views over the fields to Corfe Castle. Good breakfast

Liked: We liked the place from the moment we parked the car. It is located in such beautiful location and the views are amazing. Aaron and the rest of the staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcomed. The room was great, big and clean, with a very comfy bed. Opposite the entrance, there is a bus stop which was handy for going around the area without having to drive. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the dinners.

Liked: Beautiful place ideaaly located for access to walks in the Purbecks. Great breakfast, lovely spacious room and friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff.

A beautiful location with genuinely...

Liked: We loved the setting, the grounds were beautiful, the views stunning, and the location couldn’t have been better for exploring the area. The place felt clean and well kept, and the staff genuinely wanted to help, always on hand with a smile and never leaving you waiting.
Disliked: The wet room felt very dated and awkward to use — after showering, the floor stayed wet for hours, meaning we had to lay down towels just to move around without slipping, and even the toilet seat stayed damp. For the price we paid in peak season (£200+ a night), the facilities felt behind the curve, with only sachets for coffee instead of a proper machine. The mattress was much firmer than we’re used to, which affected our comfort, and there was a faint smell of dog hair in the room, although it was otherwise clean and we know pets are allowed. Finally, charging £3 for a cappuccino made with a pod machine at breakfast felt poor value.
