Liked: It was a nice walk to the wharf and to the station. Not too far and not too close either. We enjoyed the complimentary milk and water in the fridge and coming back to a clean room after a long day out.
Disliked: One day we had a sign out on the door to have the room cleaned but wasn't when we came back at night. Another day, we came back to clean room but the towels were not exchanged so we reused the same towels from the previous night.

Stay in Brisbane

Liked: Cam and Helen were amazing, super friendly, and helpful, full of knowledge about the area, really nice people, nothing was a problem.Room was good size, great comfy bed, large TV, great touch upon checkin with a couple of beers, also in our room each day was chocolates and a couple of bottles of water. Heatpump which was great as air con or heater. Location was great to, close to port wharf to walk to for dinners and close to airport.
Disliked: Renovations are happening here so alot of tradies around thru the day, was no mention of this when we booked. Parking was at a premium thru the day if you went out as tradies park in the car park when working. We booked the newly refurbished King room, yeah it wasn't recent, paint chipped off the door frame in bathroom, old side tables and desk look like they had just had a re paint over, were still old. Our bathroom- upon checkin our bathroom had not been cleaned from previous guests, bathroom and shower were disgusting, I informed Helen and she cleaned the shower that night and housekeeping did a thorough clean with bleach the next day. Could smell it down the hallway. No offer of a discount for this which I think was poor, $250 nz a night was pretty up there for this room and the booking.com pics I would say are a bit misleading, this room was not newly refurbished in our opinion. Was really disappointed overall
