Great overnight stay catching up...

Liked: Great location right in the centre of Retford, Staff were very helpful, it was an extremely hot day and there were fans in the bedroom, had a great nights sleep the beds were so comfortable, will defiantly come back.
Disliked: nothing it suited our needs really well

Expensive bar prices.

Liked: Clean lovely staff. Bar prices far to high £6 a pint I had one then no more just 4 minutes away beer £2 a pint so I went there.
Disliked: The room could have done with air con as room was like an oven so I had a cold shower in the middle of the night.

Exceptional

Very basic- requires more thought...

Liked: Location is nice but loud and you can hear people from early morning - the bed is lovely, had a good night sleep
Disliked: The facilities was extremely basic- no plug for sink in bathroom, no bath products eg small shampoo/ conditioner - no biscuits- just a few drink sachets thrown together- no fans or air con was red hot in the room! Small food menu that you can eat not much choice! Stayed in cheaper hotels and got better!

Perfect for theatre goers

Liked: The location was perfect for us as we were going to the Majestic Theatre in the evening. Our room was stylish and comfortable and the curry we ate in the evening was delicious. Kings Park was just across the road . The hotel is under new management and the staff were most helpful. We look forward to returning.
Disliked: All was good
