Enjoyable stay.

Liked: Fridge in the room, Nice no nonsense continental breakfast. Lady took the trouble to show us around the old cells and how they are now function rooms. Quite confusing as the King's Park Hotel and The Old Police Station are separate but breakfast is in the Old Police Station.

Liked: Room was nice and modern. Ideal as a base for a few days. Public car park close to hotel and free overnight.
Disliked: Took a little finding. Continental breakfast but reasonable selection.

Disappointing. I checked out and...

Liked: My room, although simple, was spotlessly clean, and the member of staff I met was very polite and welcoming.
Disliked: I was very disappointed to find that the restaurant was unavailable - it has been closed for several months. This meant walking around a dark, unfamiliar town in the rain on my own to find somewhere to eat.

Superb

Liked: Continental breakfast was more than sufficient with an excellent range to choose from.
Disliked: Pity that they were waiting for their new chef to start employment (after my stay) as I would have liked to have dinner included.

Liked: Hotel is good and cross the road park and nice
Disliked: there is no carpark

Liked: Location was great. Park and town centre next to hotel
Disliked: The room carpet was stained. Walls were badly marked. Toilet not cleaned properly. We were told it was a very good breakfast included in price, breakfast was disappointing. Cheap aldi youghurts and no cooked breakfast at all. Also claims to be a luxury boutique hotel, 100% was not this. Outside hall was stinking of damp. Overall i would not recommend this hotel and i wouldnt return
