Liked: Great location to almost anywhere in San Diego. Spotless facilities and friendly staff. Our grandchildren where welcomed as well. The mid century modern theme was so cool. Restaurant and Cantina was a plus. Great spot!
Disliked: The stairs with luggage was a drag.

Way exceeded my expectations
Liked: Chose this for an overnight stay before flying out of San diego. Room was very comfortable and the restaurant really surprised us. The margaritas were very good - and huge! And the Mexican food was excellent. We last stayed about ten years ago when it was kind of funky, but the rooms was modern and bright. We will use it for a long weekend in SD next time.

Cute Little Vintage Style Hotel
Liked: The hotel is extremely easy to get to from the highway, and the rooms are easily accessible. The bed was HUGE and very comfortable. We didn?t get to use the pool, although it was a nice touch. The Waffle Spot and the Amigo Spot were great places to get food as well. It?s very close to Balboa Park and the zoo, and a good spot for families.
Disliked: If you get back late at night, you may have a hard time finding some parking.

Liked: I loved the restaurants, they both had good food specially waffle House! Jesse at the front desk was very helpful to me and he was kind enough to go out of his way to help me with a small problem.
