Liked: Convenient location to places around town. The restaurants attached to the hotel had good food and service.
Disliked: Didn't see anything prior to booking about the $15 daily charge on parking in addition to the room cost.

It was a great first...

Liked: I loved the old school feel! It was such a throw back, charming and yet the room was quiet and very clean.
Disliked: Not much to complain about except for the staff. They were rude and short with us. People need to stop assuming that every one understands policies and procedures. Not everyone has the same background. Being kind is free.

It was pleasant, clean and...

Liked: The hotel was a bit older but everything worked well. There were people all over working on maintenance and cleaning everyday. The facility was well maintained. The tv had a huge selection also. Everyone working there was friendly, polite and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed . It was easy to get around the city from the hotel and close to Old Town. The motel stowed our luggage when we got there early before check in time. They also accommodated us with a ground floor room. The refrigerator was larger than the usual cube sized one and worked great. Didn’t use the large pool but the area was fabulous, with a hot tub and another sitting area that was covered allowing you to be out of the sun if you wanted and still enjoy the weather.
Disliked: My preference was for a firmer bed for my back and I only could get one bar on my cell phone service. I don’t think that is the fault of the hotel.

I would say there again....

Liked: The pool, the clean rooms
Disliked: There was no soap at the bathroom sink. There was some body wash in the shower, but there could’ve been a bar of soap at the bathroom sink. Also, I wasn’t real happy about having to pay $15 to park my car next to my room. I’ve never had to do that before. We found out later that you can park free next-door after you unload your car near your room, but that should’ve been told to us at the desk when we signed in.But overall it was good.
