Won’t stay there again.
Liked: The cleaning ladies were nice.
Disliked: Was told that the room was a non-smoking room, but it smelt like an ashtray. There was a cockroach in the bathtub and burn marks on the tub.

Stay Elsewhere
Liked: They have smoking rooms. It's the only hotel I've ever stayed in that does. There is cable TV, microwave, and a refrigerator.
Disliked: It's not in the best location. It looks ratty and run down. I reserved online and couldn't cancel, but I wouldn't have gone there if I had seen the place first. It looked abandoned with only a few cars there; never a good sign, especially with a place that advertises low pricing, which was a lie. The internet price said $59 per night, but when I made the reservation, I ended up paying $177.77; false advertisement. The room wasn't clean. Not necessarily dirty but it wasn't clean. No one cleaned my room or brought fresh linens while I was gone. The towels weren't soft, but course. The refrigerator is just about room temperature and not very cold. The tub was filthy and there were cigarette burns all over the top side of the tub because they were obviously smoking while sitting in the bathtub. The shower water wasn't warm. My second night there, the shower was unbearably cold, so I had to wash from the sink, which was at least warm (but never hot). As with most places, the "Continental Breakfas"t was a joke. Previous reviews mention the uncleanliness, inappropriate behavior by staff (?), and "pests". So needles to say I slept with the lights on, with my own blankets (one to lay on, one for cover) and pillow. The bed wasn't comfortable. For about the same cost or slightly more, there's a Staybridge Suites about a block away, that I'm sure is leagues above King's Inn. I'll be staying there next time I need lodging in the area, and I'll never go back to King's Inn.
