Kings Hotel

Enjoyed our stay and would stay again, but would request that our room is not downstairs in the basement

Liked: Friendly staff; good breakfast; nice, clean room.
Disliked: Someone, possibly a hotel guest, opened a fire exit door at 6a.m. which set an alarm off right outside our room. Our room was in the basement so we didn't have a good view and the room was overlooked from the street above.

Liked: The location is perfect.
Disliked: The staff were rude. The bedroom was a bed in a broom cupboard,incredibly small,we had to side step to get around the bed. It was absolutely boiling and the window only opened a few inches. The television was on the side of the wall tucked behind the wall. The breakfast was cold,greasy and only scrambled egg,hash browns and bacon on offer for a hot breakfast. Totally overpriced £207 I won’t be staying here again.

Liked: Nothing. I would never go back. Not even if it was free
Disliked: -1 old slow elevator for staff and guests across 5 floors- tiny rooms with really uncomfortable bed-230 pound a night (more fool me)- probably because of logistics challenges with the lift but half clean corridors with glass plates dumped there that you need to get passed.
