Kings Hotel

Enjoyed our stay and would stay again, but would request that our room is not downstairs in the basement

Liked: Friendly staff; good breakfast; nice, clean room.
Disliked: Someone, possibly a hotel guest, opened a fire exit door at 6a.m. which set an alarm off right outside our room. Our room was in the basement so we didn't have a good view and the room was overlooked from the street above.

Disliked: The toilets in the room needed a toilet brush but everything else was good

Attractive and comfortable

Liked: We liked the size of the rooms, the location and the seaviews. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful.
Disliked: Not much really. It was a bit shabby on places and ensuites were small, but it suited our family very well.

Did the job for what...

Liked: The communal areas were clean and presentable. The rooms were adequate.
Disliked: The lifts were very slow, small and not helped by the building works taking place which we were not forwarned of.
