Kings Hotel

Enjoyed our stay and would stay again, but would request that our room is not downstairs in the basement

Liked: Friendly staff; good breakfast; nice, clean room.
Disliked: Someone, possibly a hotel guest, opened a fire exit door at 6a.m. which set an alarm off right outside our room. Our room was in the basement so we didn't have a good view and the room was overlooked from the street above.

Liked: This bright and clean hotel was perfect for our trip to Brighton to see a concert just down the road at the Brighton Centre. The ongoing renovations are looking great and our room was clean and bright. Very comfortable and quiet.Staff were so very helpful and kind, arranging for a taxi for our trip to the station. Very cheerful.
Disliked: In the spacious bathroom, an extra towel rack for a large towel and a rack near the sink for hand towels would be really helpful.Breakfast felt a little hectic because of the timed seating and what seems like a small dining room for the size of the hotel. However, staff was very efficient in the breakfast room.
