Disliked: Room was not cleaned on second morning after asking for it to be done, went to reception at bar and the young lady was very helpful and brought us fresh towels and coffee.

Could be better.

Liked: The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: No reception, had to go into pub to check in. Only one set of towels for 2 people, had to go to pub and wait for them to serve pub clientele before being able to ask for more towels. Only 1 tea bag each in the room & not enough sugar and as no reception wasn’t prepared to walk over to the pub to ask for more. Checked out at 10:58 (check out is 11:00) went for breakfast only to be told breakfast finished at 11:00 so we couldn’t have it. It was 2 minutes before 11 & the food was still laid out!!!

Useful accommodation to suit a...

Liked: Proximity to food and drink at the adjacent pub and to Sainsbury's farther along the same road.
Disliked: Could do with a little modernisation such as a lift in place of the redundant reception area.

Liked: Food very good. Carvery was excellent staff polite and friendly
Disliked: Generally very good attention needs to be paid to the bricks used as decorative paving in the entrance to the accommodation they are uneven and caused a trip hazard, luckily I didn’t fall
