Disliked: Spa has completely closed down with no prior notice during booking.•Paid over £425 for a small, tired-looking bedroom.•No upgrade offered despite contacting the hotel prior to stay.•Experienced issues with hot water during our visit.•Receptionist was unhelpful and did not address our concerns or accept accountability•Breakfast was not included this time, adding to our disappointment.•Expected a much higher standard of service and accommodation given the price.

A great hotel in a...

Liked: This was our second stay at The King's Head which is conveniently located in the heart of Cirencester. We had dinner here twice which was lovely. I like that it's a dog friendly hotel, even when we didn't have ours with us. The staff are always friendly, it is a beautiful period hotel with relaxed vibe.
Disliked: We didn't have any issues with our stay, it was all good.

Not the same care we...

Liked: room was comfortable.Lovely comfortable BIG bed.
Disliked: The wait for breakfast.We had to ask for our drinks then again to order our cooked breakfast. This was due to it being understaffed, only 2 staff catering for the restaurant.Cooked breakfast was fine but very very little if you wanted continental breakfast. No pastries, only a few bits of melon no other fruit.

Nice location but expensive for...

Liked: Central location in a pretty town. Clean, well presented rooms.
Disliked: No adequate A/C, no parking. Nearest long stay was a 5/6 min walk with cases…. and for the price, not even a pen in the room!

Faultless yet again

Liked: As per usual, the staff were amazing. Molly, Veronica and Jackie done everything they could to ensure I was happy and comfortable, considering the times I was getting back, and it’s very much appreciated. The hotels great, and when in town I very rarely stay anywhere else now.
